When creating a new post for a student it is sometimes useful to provide users with a templated form to complete so that content is consistent. When combined with tagging, this is a powerful way to ensure consistent data collection across the school.
Templates can be added to any page and once added they will be available whenever creating a new post on that page.
CREATE A POST TEMPLATE
1. Navigate to Pages in the Administration Menu
2. Choose your page and select EDIT
3. Scroll down to the section labelled Post Template
4. Edit your post template by adding the content outline in the editing box. Click SAVE PAGE
Next time you visit this page for a student and create a new post, the template will be pre-populated in the content section for the author of the post to edit further.
Note: You can change a template at any time but this will not update posts that have been already created, only new posts made after the change.
