Use Data Walls to fuel data driven conversations about students's learning. They can be viewed online or printed one student per page to easily display.
To print a Data Wall, use your device's print commands (command/Ctrl + P). It will print what is showing on your page.

VIEWING A DATA WALL FOR A GROUP OR CLASS
1. Navigate to your class or group page by clicking on the Groups and Classes icon
2. Under the class or group, click the pop up menu icon
Note: if you are already in your class/group page, you can click on the pop up menu icon at the top left-hand side of your screen
3. Click DATA WALL
4. Here you will see data cards for all students in the group. You can view three versions of the Data Wall by selecting from the following card types:
LANDSCAPE: View a larger data card including more comprehensive and customisable data in a landscape view (2-3 columns per student).
PORTRAIT: View a larger data card including more comprehensive and customisable data in a portrait view (one column per student).
MINI: show your group of students in mini cards, similar to the normal class view.
Note: while the default view is landscape, your personal selection will be saved each time you view Data Walls.
5. To select the assessment or curriculum data you would like to view in the portrait or landscape data cards, click CUSTOMISE ALL CARDS
Note: If you have selected learning content to view previously, in either Data Walls or Triangulate Data, your personal selections will have been saved for you.
6. Select assessments to view by typing the name of an assessment in the Assessments search box and clicking on the assessment you wish to view. Repeat to select multiple assessments. Assessments will be displayed in the order you select them.
Note: Typing a space in this box will present you with the full list of available assessments for your school.
As you select your assessments, the modules of the assessment will appear. Select the modules containing relevant grades that you wish to view.
7. Select the progress charts that you wish to view from the subjects available to your school
8. Select the curriculum content that you wish to view from the subjects/goals sets/scope and sequence available to your school.
9. Click SAVE
These selections will be saved for you in both Data Triangulation and Data Wall, unless you CUSTOMISE and SAVE again.
10. The following data may be viewed in the portrait or landscape data cards
General student information:
- Name, class, year level and age of the student
- Student profile image
- Ethnicity flag (not available for NSW schools)
- Medical or Important alert flag
Student pages:
- Icons indicating the number posts made to this student's pages
- A green icon indicates a page open to caregivers, red indicates a page that is closed to caregivers
- Click an icon to be taken to that page for that student
Curriculum data:
- Progress through selected curriculum content
- Depending on your selections, you may need to scroll in this section to view all data.
Attendance data:
- Graphs showing year to date attendance by term.
- Graphs are broken down into present (dark green), late (light green), justified absence (orange) and unjustified absence (red).
Assessment data:
- Recent grades for the selected assessment modules.
- Depending on your selections, you may need to scroll in this section to view all data.
Progress charts:
- Progress charts for the selected progress subjects.
- Depending on your selections, you may need to scroll in this section to view all data.
SCREENSHOT A DATA WALL DIRECTLY TO A LEARNER OR SCHOOL PAGE
You are able to easily screenshot a student data card directly to a post on one of the student's pages or on a school page. This allows you to document notes about your discussions directly to where it can be accessed easily as an ongoing record for future teachers.
1. Click the camera button on the student data card that you wish to screenshot
2. Select the page you wish to make a post on. Any learner pages or school pages that are available to be used will display as options.
3. An editing window for a new post will appear with the screenshot attached as an image at the bottom. Write your post as your normally would for this page. Any tags relevant to the page will be available when you click NEXT.
Click SAVE to save your post to the page.
4. Once saved, to view your post navigate to the relevant page. If saved to a learner page, click the relevant page icon on the student's data card to go directly to the page.
