Viewing, Downloading and Printing Reports

Once reports are ready to review or published, they are able to be viewed or downloaded as a PDF by school staff in the case of reports ready to review, or both school staff and caregivers in the case of published reports.

ACCESSING REPORTS AS A STAFF MEMBER

1. Navigate to the Reporting hub on the left of your screen

   

2. Click on the class or group that contains the student/s that you want to download reports for.

   

Individual student reports

3. Click the arrow next to View all students

   

4. Click on the student 

   

5. Select View to view or edit the relevant report. 

   

   For reports that are in draft - View will take you to the report writer for this student to continue to write the report.

   For reports that are ready to review or ready to publish - View will take you to the preview of the report where there is an option to download the PDF copy of the report

   

6. For published reports, you can select Download to download a PDF copy of the report from the report history without needing to view first.

   

 

Download Ready to Review Reports for a Group of Students

1. In the group or class, click Review reports

   

2. To download and print the ready to review reports for the whole group, click Download All

   

3. To download and print the ready to review report for an individual student, click Download PDF when on the student's report.

   

 

Download Published Reports for a Group of Students

1. In the report hub, click on the group (steps 1-2 above)

2. Scroll down the report editor to locate the report you would like to download for this group

3. Click Download PDFs

   

4. A PDF of each student report will download to your device in a zipped file. Use your device settings to decompress the zipped file into separate PDFs to then print or email.

   

   

ACCESSING REPORTS AS A CAREGIVER

Caregivers are able to access reports directly from the Hero app.

When a report is published, the caregivers will be notified a new report is ready to view. They can follow this notification to go directly to the report or access the reports at any time from their home screen.

1. From the home screen, click Reports

   

2. To download a PDF copy for printing, click Download PDF

   Note: Downloading a PDF for printing is not currently supported in the Apple app. This is accessible on an Apple device by logging into Hero (go.linc-ed.com) via the web browser on the device.

   

3. To view a report and read online, click on the relevant report date

   

4. The online view of the report will be visible here.
