Comet harnesses artificial intelligence to generate curriculum-aligned activities for your learners. We've designed Comet with busy teachers in mind, to streamline the planning process and reignite lessons with fresh inspiration.
Comet creates suggested activities that support your school's curriculum and learning, saving valuable teachers' time. Suggested activities can be rated by teachers, and community ratings are generated across Hero schools. Learning activities are generated securely using OpenAI's GPT-3.5 Turbo.
Any staff member is able to create a set of goal activities using Comet. These become attached to the goal and are then available to all staff. Staff with administration rights can remove a set of activities.
UTILISING COMET FROM A GROUP
1. Navigate to your class or group page by clicking on the Groups and Classes icon.
2. Under the class or group, click the pop up menu icon.
Note: if you are already in your class/group page, you can click on the pop up menu icon at the top left-hand side of your screen.
3. Click on CURRICULUM
4. Select the category
5. Select the curriculum set you wish to view.
6. Click MATRIX VIEW
7. Scroll to the goal you wish to work with and click the COMET icon.
8. If Comet has been clicked previously, a list of Suggested learning activities will already exist.
9. If no suggestions currently exist, click GENERATE CURRICULUM PLAN to create.
10. If you favour a particular activity, provide a rating to assist future viewers. Click the number of stars to indicate your rating.
11. If you have administrator rights and wish to delete a set of activites, scroll to the bottom of the set and click DELETE CURRICULUM PLAN.
UTILISING COMET FROM AN INDIVIDUAL STUDENT
1. Navigate to the student profile and click on their pop up menu
2. Select CURRICULUM
3. You will see all the content the student is currently working on. Select a subject from the drop down menu
5. Select the level of content you would like to view
6. Click COMET on the content you wish to add suggestions to.
7. If Comet has been clicked previously, a list of Suggested learning activities will already exist.
8. If no suggestions currently exist, click GENERATE CURRICULUM PLAN to create.
9. Rate the suggestions by clicking the desired number of stars.
10. If you have administrator rights, and wish to delete a set of activites, scroll to the bottom of the set and click DELETE CURRICULUM PLAN.
