Hero offers two ways for teachers to enter school expectation data. This can either be done by manually setting curriculum levels or by automatically generating Best fit curriculum levels by marking the goals a student has completed or is currently working on.
For each subject you wish to track, your school can choose how the data is entered. For example, a school may choose to have their teachers click goals to automatically generate Best fit levels in Mathematics but manually enter curriculum levels for Reading and Writing.
Note: Making changes to the progress levels, milestones and expectations after you have collected data may affect the accuracy of this data. Schools who would like to set up their Milestones / Expectations or make changes to these need to contact the Hero Helpdesk through the Help button in their site to have the page unlocked. Goals and progressions will not be able to be updated by teachers while this is unlocked.
