Should you enter an incorrect option/score in a student's assessment, you may need to change this.
On the day you entered the incorrect option/score you can override this to an alternative choice.
If you need to change the option/score after the original date of entry, this needs to be actioned by a site administrator.
TO OVERRIDE AN ASSESSMENT SCORE ON THE DAY OF ENTRY
1. Navigate to the student profile and click on their pop up menu
2. Select the page your assessment has been added to. Many schools have an ASSESSMENTS page set up specifically for this purpose. This may be named differently by your school leadership team.
3. Here you will see the assessments made available by your school leaders. Click the assessment you wish to change the recorded entry for
4. Click on the correct option/score. This will turn blue. Note, it is not necessary to enter data in every field.
Where the scoring range is numeric, you can click on the box and change the number or click on the up/down arrows to scroll through the options. Holding your cursor on an arrow will initiate a fast scroll. Click SAVE
5. Once the correct option/score is entered, it will display in the top row of the Assessment History visible at the bottom of the page. If this is not immediately visible, refresh your page.
TO CHANGE AN ASSESSMENT SCORE AFTER THE DAY OF ENTRY (FOR SITE ADMINISTRATORS)
1. Navigate to the student profile and click on their pop up menu
2. Select the page your assessment has been added to. Many schools have an ASSESSMENTS page set up specifically for this purpose. This may be named differently by your school leadership team
3. Here you will see the assessments made available by your school leaders. Click the assessment you wish to change the recorded entry for
4. Scroll to the Assessment History located at the bottom of the page and click ENABLE EDITING
5. Click the pencil next to the field you wish to edit
6. Enter a reason for the change and amend the assessment entry to the correct option/grade
7. Updates will show in the Assessment History field. Once all your changes have been made, click STOP EDITING
TO DELETE AN ASSESSMENT SCORE AFTER THE DAY OF ENTRY (FOR SITE ADMINISTRATORS)
1. Navigate to the student profile and click on their pop up menu
2. Select the page your assessment has been added to. Many schools have an ASSESSMENTS page set up specifically for this purpose. This may be named differently by your school leadership team
3. Here you will see the assessments made available by your school leaders. Click the assessment you wish to change the recorded entry for
4. Scroll to the Assessment History located at the bottom of the page and click ENABLE EDITING
5. Click the trash can next to the field you wish to delete data from
6. Enter a reason for why the data is being deleted then confirm the deletion by clicking YES, DELETE IT
7. Updates will show in the Assessment History field. Once all your changes have been made, click STOP EDITING
