Finding a Student's Groups and Classes (past and present)

It is often useful to be able to view the groups that a student is a member of. If the student is still current then these groups can be in the current or previous years.  

TO FIND THE GROUPS FOR A STUDENT

1. Navigate to the student profile and click on their pop up menu

2. Select GROUPS.  All groups that the student is present in will be displayed.

3.  To view the groups for a previous or future year, click the required Year button.

You can also build a list in List Builder that includes the Previous Year's Class field:

LEAVERS

You can find groups for students who left in the current year the same way as above.

Leavers are taken out of all groups at the end of the year, so in most cases leavers from previous years will show no groups. However, if the school processes unenrolments after the rollover in the first days of January, a record of group membership may be kept.
