Hero gives you the option to communicate with your staff, caregivers and students with the Staff, Student and Community Feeds.
Users are able to narrow these feeds down to view only posts published by a specific author and/or to view posts that were sent to a specific group or class.
Caregivers with students at more than one Hero school are also able to filter their Community Feed by school to see only posts from one school.
FILTERING POSTS BY AUTHOR OR GROUP
1. Navigate to the feed you wish to view.
- Staff members go to the home page (House Icon in the top tool bar) and select Staff Feed, Student Feed or Community Feed
- Caregivers go to the Community Feed
- Students go to My Feed
2. To view only posts written by a specific author, identify a post this author has written and click on the author's name under the post title.
3. To view only posts made to a group or class, identify a post addressed to this group or class and click on the group or class name under the post title.
Note: as staff feed posts are not addressed to groups or classes, this option is not available.
4. You will now see only posts that match your selection. Active filter buttons will appear at the top of the feed to display what you are viewing.
Note: You are able to filter by a post author and a group or class at the same time.
