COMPLETE THE SIGN OUT PROCESS
1. Navigate to the Administration menu or Quick Links menu (depending on your staff access).
2. Click Sickbay to view a list of all students currently in the sickbay.
3. Click the Release icon to display the release information popup.
4. Complete the RELEASE STUDENT FROM SICKBAY popup screen.
- Checked out By (required field)- will default to the current staff member. Delete and replace if necessary.
- Check Out Time (required field) - will default to the current time. Overtype or click the clock to adjust the time.
- Resolution (required field) - Select from the drop down list of (Returned to Class/Break, Sent to Medical Centre, Sent to Hospital, Caregiver collected).
- Release Note - Brief release update. This information will add to the existing content of the post on the student's medical page.
- Release Details - Enter more information if necessary. This information will add to the existing content of the post on the student's medical page.
- Tags - click the tags to indicate the nature of the admission. The tags create the ability to analyse data so using tags is a valuable tool, even if you have entered the information in the detail's box above.
6. If 'Sent to Medical Centre' or 'Sent to Hospital' is selected, the Medical Profile Sheet will become available.
7. Click SAVE to complete the release. If SAVE is not enabled then a required field has not been entered.
8. Clicking SAVE will update the post on the student's medical page that was created when the student was admitted to the Sickbay. The student will still be visible in the Sickbay Register.
9. Automatic attendance updates will be actioned for non-NZ MoE schools only. For these schools, if 'Sent to Medical Centre', 'Sent to Hospital' or 'Caregiver Collected' is selected the students attendance record will be updated with the 'sick' code for your jurisdiction.
