Any student in Hero with a student email address is able to have a password to log into Hero.
The student may set or change their password themselves following the steps in the help article Logging into Hero - Information for Students
It is also possible for a Hero Administrator to set or change a password for any student.
CHANGING A HERO STUDENT ACCOUNT PASSWORD
1. Find the student using the search tools available.
2. Click the pop up menu icon.
3. Click Manage Student.
4. Enter the new password into the field New password in the Change Student's Hero Password box. Confirm the password by also entering it into the Confirm new password field.
Note: This box will not show if the student does not have a Hero account. See CREATING STUDENT HERO ACCOUNTS below
5. Click SAVE PASSWORD
CREATING STUDENT HERO ACCOUNTS
In order for a student to have a Hero account and to have this, they will need a unique student email address entered into the Student email address field in their Basic Details page.
